Déjà Rêve is where groove meets story. Blending soul-rooted hip hop with modern R&B, the band layers MPC-driven production with a live rhythm section and saxophone to create a sound that is both textured and alive. Built around groove and narrative, the group features two lead vocalists, Capra and Xieven.

From intimate coffeehouse sets to energetic festival stages, their sound merges sample-based production with the pulse of live instrumentation. In the vein of Anderson .Paak, Big K.R.I.T., and Keemy Casanova, Xieven (eleven) delivers smooth, charismatic lyricism with grounded confidence. Capra (Capria), on the other hand, brings a warm, expressive tone reminiscent of Erykah Badu and Alex Isley, balancing raw soul with a luminous vocal presence that moves effortlessly through the band’s grooves.

Déjà Rêve has had the honor of opening for the Grammy-nominated Mardi Gras Indian funk band Cha Wa and international ensemble Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba.

Their southern mix of R&B, hip hop, and soul creates a delicious auditory experience they like to call Country Fried Jerk Chicken. With two powerful vocalists and songwriters at the helm—supported by Keenen on keys, Justin on drums, and Brian on auxiliary sax—Déjà Rêve delivers a rich tapestry of sound that feels both modern and timeless, inviting listeners fully into the experience.
